You mean he abandoned his duties and allowed our elections to be influenced?

Cowardice while under attack by a foreign government is what it sounds like you are trying to say. Unwilling to put his neck on the line to protect our country, knowing we were under attack.

I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like, maybe, desertion. Or maybe he thought he was Mohammed Ali, giving them the rope a dope? When did he start returning blows after letting them wear themselves out?
