where the participation and completion of an Athletic Department approved intership where the compensation for student athletes is the same as non-student athletes necessiates the vacating of an entire season of victories, and then explain the logic of how after 'supposedly' receiving information questioning the validity of said internship additional student athletes were sent to participate in it again the next summer but the records of those involved after notification were not impacted? What is the infraction that was discovered to have been committed that justifies that penalty?
A school would get rid of wins to help a sitting head coach's reputation, because that is exactly what Missouri did in this situation.
To clarify, I didn't say they made up NCAA infractions. They made up penalties, because we elected to self impose our own penalties. The NCAA just accepted our self penalization.
