kids don't want to come to Mizzou. It's ok to play a cupcake or two (everyone does), but big-time players want to play in big-time games. Most top programs are playing in big P5 games early in the year and win or lose, it creates excitement for the program.

Most fans don't want to sit through a glorified scrimmage against Tennessee-Martin on 90° day over Labor Day weekend.
