conference-wide rivalry series against the ACC.
Some SEC teams already have an ACC partner. Give everybody one. Don't just demand to play a P5 opponent, schedule the game for everybody.
1. this would draw tons of attention and viewership.
2. it increases the Tier 1 TV supply where a 9-game conference slate would reduce it.
3. Lots of money to be made here.
4. Head to head recruiting turf exposure.
5. Would actually help SoS for a lot of SEC teams.
As an alternative to a permanent "rival" from the ACC, they could also rotate it each year based on standings.
How you schedule it would have to depend on which matchup method you chose.
