It could be that the GOP does not want to see Donnie weakened at time of SC nominee fight. Suddenly the Right really turned up the heat on this. Seems to me that this investigation will wrap up August or September, gut feel.

And for all the bragadocia exercised by Rudy, it is not up to Trump to "interview" with Mueller. Subpoenas take care of that right quick.
