going to get a lot of early recruits and we certainly won't be getting higher star recruits.
The slow start to his head coaching career (5-13) and the 1-5 start last year has led to a lot of uncertainty. The blowout loss in the Bowl Game didn't help his cause.
People don't know if he will be around next year, and as long as that hangs around his neck, nothing will change.
Extensions are meaningless, they don't prevent coaches from getting fired. Every family and recruit knows this.
The only thing Odom can do is win... and win big. Go 9-3 or 10-2 and lock up with certainty that he is a guy that can win and that the University wants.
