It is not OUR responsibility to be the unfiltered and unregulated safety net for the citizens of Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Somalia, etc seeking to improve their lives.

The ancestors of the VAST majority of American citizens did not receive taxpayer funded help to survive.... They came to the US LEGALLY and with the known provision that they were going to succeed or fail on their own merits without any taxpayer help.
