1. Is the candidate an asset in building your roster? MPSr delivered the 2 best players we've seen wear a Mizzou uniform in the last 10 years. And he was the direct recruiter and key in convincing the Braun kid to walk on at MU even as he had P5 offers. I say the answer is a resounding yes.
2. Is the candidate an asset in developing athletes as players? MPSr has proven he can develop very technically sound, advanced in fundamentals, players. He's clearly an above average teacher.
3. Is the candidate an asset in projecting/reflecting a positive image of the program in the local, statewide and national community? MPSr is an excellent interview and positive representative of the University - we'll never see MPSr embarrass MU in any way.
4. Finally, is the program better with the candidate than it is without the candidate? Clearly the answer to this is a resounding "YES!"
If a candidate checks all these boxes, and MPSr does, then I have interest in him for a job.
