You mention two things public housing (interestingly enough you clarify that as 'for poor people) and "welfare" and then say the list goes on . . .
Welfare is not "mostly non-productive but able bodied people who refuse to better their situation".
The "truly poor" wow. And you want churches with declining membership across the board to tend to the 45.3 million people who live under the poverty line.
Perhaps those poor doesn't suffer enough for you. Perhaps they have it too good.
How about the 500,000 homeless? You want these "churches" to pick up the slack there too?
