whether MU made the right decision to move...
Yesterday, a Nebraskan sportswriter posted a poll on Twitter asking NU fans which former Big 8 school they would most like to schedule, other than Oklahoma:

As many would expect, Mizzou is the overwhelming favorite. However, what I found to be most interesting about this is the top comment (with 30+ likes):
"Missouri is the easy answer for me. Would be big for recruiting, especially in the St. Louis area, and they're in the SEC."
"...and they're in the SEC."
People talk about revenue, stability, and exposure as being the primary advantages of SEC membership over Big12, but a major benefit that often goes unmentioned: prestige.
The B1G and SEC are, by far, the two most prestigious conferences in college athletics. Our brand went from regional to national in moving from the Big12 to the SEC.
