Which should eliminate differences in competition and pace, then they basically had the same type of freshman season.
I think they are similar players that impact the game in similar ways.
Offensively they score on spot ups, transition and offensive rebounds. Santos may end up being more adept at using the shot fake and attacking the rim. That’s still to be seen.
Defensively neither were good defender under prior coaches, but have the athleticism to be good 3 and D players. It took Barnett 20 games under Cuonzo to become that player.
