personal views, but if valuing personal liberty and wanting the federal powers decentralized back to what they should be means he's a lefty, then you can call him a lefty.

he wants the entitlements abolished - is he a lefty?

he thinks the gvmt shouldn't regulate the flow of labor over the border but agrees it should be a safety check - because gvmt doesn't have an enumerated power to regulate foreign labor - is he a lefty?

I hate to break it to you, but supporting federal powers not enumerated doesn't make you a "righty".
