Trump's attack on the FBI and the "deep-state" has really accelerated since Cohen was raided. He is laying the groundwork for him to fight whatever Cohen comes out with because he knows that he won't be able to fight it with facts. He's going to use the "attack the messenger" defense here. It's the 2nd most popular right-wing defense on Tigerboard after whataboutism.
