as a computer guy, people never seem to understand that records are kept of which files you look at, how long, and what you did with them. Deleted files aren't deleted, just the pointer to them. That's why you need bleach bit to truly eliminate them.
There's a chance the illegal leaker was under suspicion, for illegal reviewing files. if not, they'll be able to track him down from the records.
