If Porter is fired without cause, Mizzou owes him a sum equal to his base salary pro-rated per month multiplied by the number of months left on the contract but not exceeding 12 months. If Porter leaves MU before the contract expires, he owes a sum equal to his base salary for one month for up to three months.
