contribute to the G-League for most of the season. That doesn't happen. GMs don't send players who could contribute for them to the G-League for multiple years to drive down his salary demands. That's how you drive a player away from your organization.

Tanking is giving stars off days and trading away talent. It's not the same thing that tiger4real is saying owners will do.
