pick a school halfway across the country just because of him? Considering the age gap that almost certainly means you have not spent just a ton of time around him?

I think we have a reasonable shot at him. And I think that them being cousins is a factor. But zounami seems to suggest that it's a foregone conclusion just because they're cousins.
