It wasn't just that he was a freshman, but he was beyond bad and lost playing time to a guy (Lucas) who transfered and whose best current offer is Milwaukee.
Defensively, he could not keep guards in front of him, not because he was just out of position, but because he lacks lateral quickness. Offensively, he was terrible shooting (which freshmen do struggle with) but his decision-making with the ball, his movement off the ball and his inability to beat a guy off the dribble and finish made him rather pointless on offense.
Don't get me wrong, he's a good kid and I want him to do well, but MS is not the answer at PG. And, that's a problem when, as of right now, the only options for next year are Geist and Xavier Pinson.
I just don't get this.
