Memphis continued to play Rose after being made aware of his fraudulent SAT score and they provided travel expenses for his brother Reggie. Huge difference.
As soon as Self has been made aware of a possible problem, he doesn’t play him anymore. See Cliff Alexander and Billy Preston. These coaches can’t police everyone involved at all times, but they can follow the rules when information is brought to their attention. Self does, Cal didn’t. That’s why Self has never left a school on Major probation and cal has left all of them on it. Just facts. Sorry.
