People mix up religiosity and Christianity

Religiosity is what you you have to do to reach heaven/God. It's the rules you have to follow. Christianity is what God has done to reach you. This is John 3:16. Jesus came to give Grace and a way to eternal life.
Again, God hates all sin, and to condemn certain sins, while ignoring your own displeases God. ( take the beam out of your own eye before worrying about the splinter in anothers.)
God hates the prideful who judge. A Christian doesn't just focus on a certain sin. Anything that turns people away from God is demonic. The Westboro people are demonic. People who pose as Christians and act in a non-christian way by not loving their neighbor as themselves are poor examples, and made Mark Twain write
"Christianity is a great religion. It's a pity it hasn't been practiced yet."
Too often this is true but there are places it's practiced and the hypocrisy it not enabled.
