i think Jontay’s situation is different

Than MPJ......the risk is not nearly the same. Jontay re-classified up and should be a senior in HS.....he grew a lot over the year and it is easy to see how much he could really develop and mature physically with another year of school. Plus, he doesn’t have the injury history nor does he play a position or style of b-ball that lends to being injured (ie he isn’t a high flyer, he is more of a finesse player that bruiser.....a little like Tim Duncan]. MPJ if there is no concern of re-injuring his back should come back too but if he can still lock in a top 5 pick then he probably won’t.
