Hey who the heck is voting for...

Kennesaw State as one of the top 25 teams in the country? In the NFCA poll yesterday they are the 4th team getting votes, just outside the top 25. Someone is voting for them. Did they forget to revoke EEs voting privileges when he was fired? Someone is giving Pete D some love and I can't see why.

KSU is 17-9 but has played an awful schedule so far. Until last weekend just about any team with a pulse destroyed them, including Hofstra 8-0, N. Iowa 8-0, Rutgers 7-0, and Georgia Tech 9-0. Last weekend they took 2/3 against a USC Upstate team with a decent reputation in which apparently the teams were using whiffle ball bats against a regulation softball; 5 total runs combined by both teams in 3 games, winning 2-1 and 1-0 and losing 1-0. USC Upstate is 19-9, yes, but they have played an awful schedule overall and have not a single decent win. They did keep it close in losses against Arizona, 3-0, and Wisconsin 2-0, but just got swept by North Carolina last week.

Maybe this just goes to show that there are maybe 18-20 high quality teams in the nation this year and then a bunch of mediocre teams in the 20-40 range. I guess you have to vote for someone as a top 25 team.
