Softball back in action today at SEMO...

Games at 4pm and 6pm.
SEMO is 15-9 on the year, no significant wins. They checked in at #75 in the first RPI ranking of the year this week. Against common opponents, they beat Creighton 7-4 and lost to them 6-4 and 7-5, and they lost to Drake 1-0. We beat Drake 4-3 and 10-3, and beat Creighton 11-3 and 8-0.
SEMO also lost to #19 Kentucky 4-2 and 11-2, played them tough one game.
We should handle them easily and our hitters should have a field day, but I thought the same thing about playing Illinois. Need to take care of business and move on to the critical weekend series at Arkansas with a little confidence and momentum. Sweeping SEMO today and taking 2/3 against Arkansas is a must.
