kid on baseball team, didn't seem like he initially mix well with other kids. He was Christian, honestly think he handled it really well and learned from it.

He ended up going to ISU for engineering. went to his HS graduation party and his whole church, like 300 people were there, walls were covered with art he had drawn, ribbons from the state fair, stuff he had built & welded.
impressive, really.

I think in his case, he didn't fall behind socially any more than any other kid might if they go on some weird tangent and recluse themselves for a period of time.
