And federal income taxes at that I think.

Pretty much every other tax, the rich pay a lesser percent of their income in taxes, with maybe the exception of property taxes.

I think we have a our tax system is far too progressive.

Also, with the exception of local property taxes, taxation is not even tied to spending, which is even more insane.
