has anyone argued that a school can't set up gun free zones?

i think the main argument is that they shouldn't necessarily be gun free zones. and even then I haven't seen anyone suggest everyone from the superintendent to the janitor to the students be armed. it's a matter of select, volunteer, vetted, trained, licensed educators who WANT this option. and if a school district says it's for it that is there right. if a school district says it's against it that is their right too imo.
