The fact that MPJr is a great player doesn’t mean he makes the team better.

It’s going to take an adjustment, for him and for the rest of the team, to get him to fit in and make the team better than it is.

Basketball is truly one of those sports where the team is greater than the sum of the parts. Forcing a new part into an already functioning team will not necessarily make it better, no matter how good that new part may be.
