Harris has a long and well-documented history of quitting teams. It's one of the reasons he fell down the recruiting rankings over the course of his HS career (at one point he was a highly coveted 5-star recruit).
It also became very apparent (from watching him during games) that he had severe emotional issues. Harris had talent and elite athleticism, but his departure was addition-by-subtraction for the long-term interests of the team and program.
