a coach feels that a medically cleared but not fully game ready version of Micheal Porter Jr is inferior as an option to those 3 options.
I get that he is being put in the position of having to say that, but that doesn't seem plausible. I do think there is some merit to playing time having to be earned, and a guy shouldn't be able to walk in off the street and take time away from someone putting the work in all season so there needs to be a reasonable grace period where he earns it.
