for people to listen to me? That the Royals had so much young talent coming, and just to hang tight, because there's no way better times won't be coming?
Yeah, this is the opposite of that. Unless these 4-5 high picks this year turn out to be lightning bolts...you are looking at dead last in the Central for a very long time. It might take 4-6 years, just for the prospects to be in place so we can trade them for better prospects.
Essentially, we sold our soul to the Devil.
Now, the first payments are due.
Hope it was worth it.
