Most alcohol related traffic deaths (70%) are caused by high speed accidents involved with repeat offenders with blood alcohol of .15 or higher.

Currently, the law is not stopping the true killers, but has created an industry for lawyers, revenue for police departments.
My prediction is that the limit will eventually be lowered to .05, since no politician wishes to oppose MADD, police in order to drive up revenue .
The people over .15 will only be stopped when every car has a breathalyzer.
It's similar to gun control laws, in that instead of preventing the real problem, drunken repeat offenders, violent crazy people, everyone must be punished instead.
All while the real problem continues unstopped.
