The infrastructure proposal provides $200B in federal funds, with the remaining $1.3T to come from state & local funds. Yet, for the taxpayer under the new tax law, they will no longer be able to deduct state and local taxes from their federal taxes.
So, state & local government will have to squeeze the taxpayer for more money for infrastructure.
The new tax law screws the taxpayer further under the infrastructure proposal.
