For example, when you say a team is "top 25" while referring to a specific computer model, you need to specify that detail.
The only time it's acceptable to say "Team A is top 25" without qualifying the source is when you're referring to the AP poll. That's a convention that I know you're well aware of by now.
Mizzou is top 25 according to several computer models, but (currently) we can't say Mizzou is top 25 since we're not ranked by the AP. We have to say "Mizzou is ranked top 25 in the RPI", etc.
