Oklahoma is ranked #23 with 87 votes.

So let's compare Missouri and Oklahoma:

OU record: 16-8 (6-6)

MU record: 17-8 (7-5)

OU trend: lost 4 of their last 5 (and 6 of their last 8), including games to Alabama and lowly Iowa State (i.e. teams that MU beat)

MU trend: 4 game winning streak, including at Alabama (where OU lost recently) and Kentucky

OU is 0-2 against SEC teams (Bama and Arkansas) which MU went 1-1 against.

MU is 1-1 against Big12 teams (ISU and WVU) which OU has gone 0-3 against.

Kenpom and RPI are virtually the same, but MU is trending upward while OU is trending downward.

Despite all of this, OU is ranked in the top 25 and currently projected as a 4-5 seed. MU is unranked, still receiving 0 votes in the coaches poll, and projected as a 8-9 seed.

That's ridiculous.
