I don't believe the situation is as you stated, but I do believe, that broadly speaking, the Republicans are more in the side of Right than the Democrats, if only insofar as Republicans are more likely to be believing Christians and Democrats more likely to be secular. If you cannot grasp the subtleties in all that then you should probably be concerning yourself with other things.
