at the facts detailed in the memo & explain how they do not:
1) raise concerns with the legitimacy and legality of certain DOJ and FBI interactions with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), and
2) represent a troubling breakdown of legal processes established to protect the American people from abuses related to the FISA process.
in re: #1 there were some clear biases & conflicts of interest in the FBI and
a. they didn't follow their own rules and procedures in obtaining the warrant
b. important information was withheld from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) when they applied for the warrant.
in re: #2 we read of evidence that the FBI was making their decisions with a keen eye focused on who was going to win the election and how that would affect the FBI.
and, a partisan DOJ official (his wife was working for Hillary's campaign) personally gave the FBI information that was a bought and paid for political hit piece from Hillary's campaign... and the FBI was well aware of the partisan nature of the information and it's origin, including the very partisan nature of the person who put it together... and could not verify the information despite an FBI offer to pay him $50,000 if he could do so... and they did not disclose this information when they used it, assuring the FISC court that they vouched for it, to get a warrant to spy on the Trump's campaign.
