You later said he. So you are indicating E-1, with up to almost two years service. On Sunday 23Jun1974, I reported to boot. On Friday 23Aug1974, I was promoted to E-2, coinciding with graduation on time from boot. The math ain't that hard. Do you have a reading comprehension problem? Unless he's a screw up, he should have made E-2 in no time at all. So why are you whining about the pay of screw ups who can't do the simple thing, 6 months into enlistment? You must have no understanding of the military. Why would you give someone a raise if they can't make it past E-1 in the first six months? That person is dead weight.
