Apparently there was a FISA warrant on Carter Page issued in 2014, well before Trump was considered by anyone to be a credible candidate and could not have been justified by the Steele dossier because the dossier did not exist at that time.
There were two others on Manafort. The first significantly predated the election and his involvement in Trump campaign (or the Steele dossier). The date of the second is unclear, but it is strongly implied that it was issued after Manafort was discharged from the Trump campaign. This CNN article discusses the second FISA warrant.

Since some of you (Spanky, MUTGR) seem to be some convienced that the Steele dossier was used as the justification for a FISA warrant to "spy on the Trump campaign", I would appreciated it if you provided some actual credible support for that assertion. Who specifically did the warrant cover. When was it issued. How do you know the Steele dossier was a critical basis for the application.
Basically, the only assertions along that line that the quick search uncovered was speculation by republicans, not actual claims that the Steele dossier was in fact used to justify surveillance of anyone who was working for the Trump campaign at the time the warrant was issued.
