To be PRO something means that you are a supporter of it, that you would promote the activity.

Some in this country take the agonizing step of terminating a pregnancy b/c they feel there is no way they can support an unwanted child. That is not PROMOTING the practice but regretfully accepting it.

AGAIN - why don't you folks SUPPORT and PROMOTE making birth control widely available due to the fact that it would reduce the number or occasions of unwanted pregnancies.

The idea that the only option is to just say no and go the abstinence only route laughs in the face of human nature and history.

SO WHY NOT PROMOTE BIRTH CONTROL ?????????
