i wouldn't put too much stock in the all-freshman team.

for the most part, it just meant we had freshman playing while most other programs didn't. for several of those positions we were either the only team playing a freshman or one of only two or three with a freshman on the 2-deep.

but i am 100% with you on the stupidity of the stars scientists. they're not recruiters or evaluators or even scouts. they're beat writers. the star designations are no more than a rough guess at a popularity score.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
