Whether we get our guy or not, or whether we like the hire or not, it still has to 'play out' over time.

If you want to be realistic, I'm open to the fact that Odom may regress next year and two years after that in which case his livelihood can and should be in jeopardy even though he did turn it around this year. I can't say and don't think it'll happen for a variety of reasons but it could.

Things have been playing out in a positive manner for us lately. I don't have input into any decision so I sit back, bask in the glow of a turnaround season try not to get too fired up or think the sky is falling and see what happens.

The weight of Mizzou football is not on my shoulders 'cause, I'm just a fan.
