Strap yourselves in for some McMuffin genius.

First and foremost, it does away with the putrid problem of having the word 'kansas' in one of our flagship Missouri cities. But we get to hold onto our emotional attachment to "KC" and "KCMO" etc.

"Kingdom City Royals" just kinda rolls off the tongue. There's already a giant crown with KC emblazoned on it outside of Kaufman. Keep it. If you were to design a logo for a "Kingdom City" it'd look like that anyway.

Arrowhead already has "Chiefs Kingdom" emblazoned everywhere and its a big part of the Chiefs marketing. They've already been planning for awhile to be the Kingdom City Chiefs and have been easing you into it.

Applied retroactively, the city will have once had an NBA team called the Kingdom City Kings during the 1970s and 80s. Duh.

Charlotte and Cincinnati both portend to be the "Queen City." This country needs a King city to bone them.

Kingdom City sounds cool. Like Gotham City, sounds like someplace a superhero would hang out.

The history of the name for the current Kingdom City - an allusion to the "Kingdom of Callaway County" and the legend of its sovereignty having been honored in a truce with the federal government during the Civil War - could likewise be applied to the current KCMO having been spared of the infamous "Federal Order No 11" during the Civil War that forcibly depopulated much of Jackson County, but left KCMO alone. Plus its a middle finger to the jayhawkers.

I've got a lot of good ideas. Trouble is, most of them suck.
