He's now down (or was) to 2 or 3 years prior to being extended. It's a difficult sell for a coach to say that he'll be there for all four or five years of a kid's career when his contract expires prior to that.
Also, starting 1-5 really killed any momentum that we had to begin with. I have my questions about him going forward too, but we're starting to incur some legitimate interest now with the win streak. Let's see if he can close with the momentum on some of these kids.
