Yep, KC has a 3x higher crime rate, including all violent crime.

The crime in KC is exponentially more widespread than STL as well.

STL also is the 2nd safest Metro of the top 50 Cities/Metros.

$2 Billion NSA National Geospatial Spy Agency Headquarters with over 6000 of the highest educated & highest paying federal jobs being built right in the heart of STL’s primary problem area, along with a lot of ancillary development (retail, residential, etc) going up around it, is a solution in progress too.
