Two Issues: is he an NFL QB & where will he develop faster

Seems to me there are long term two issues for Lock: (1) does he have the potential to be an NFL QB and (2) if the answer is yes, will he develop the skills necessary to play in the NFL more rapidly by spending next season at Mizzou or on an NFL roster as a backup?

If Lock wants to become a Mizzou icon, he stays. If he wants to maximize his NFL future, the issue becomes more difficult. Yes, Lock will be a better QB next season if he returns & will win lots of honors if he stays healthy. But will he develop and refine the skills necessary to succeed in the NFL, particularly if Mizzou doesn't run an NFL style passing attack, as rapidly as if he's being schooled by an NFL staff?
