They want all the answers to the questions that no one can provide because the INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING.

They often use that fact as a weapon to say "THERE'S NO EVIDENCE OF ANYTHING". Of course not. It's not over. It's a huge investigation which is not over. Indictments and pleas are PART OF THE PROCESS.
