the 30% should be normalized for homeowners, and it will increase dramatically. Since you are passing it around and don't seem to care that its basis isn't entirely accurate for this discussion, you can own that.

And yes, increasing the standard deduction will reduce the number of those taking the mortgage interest credit - I dealt with that above. Good job not understanding dynamic issues or dynamic discussion.
