white man as savior of black man card. Right or wrong, that's a politically incorrect maneuver in today's America. In the movie Lincoln, Spielberg was careful not to show Lincoln's ride into Richmond where he was greeted with adulation by blacks just to avoid the same political incorrectness. Seems a bit silly.
