I don't think anyone's suggesting simply beating Florida is impressive. They're bad this year.
It's HOW we beat them.
Yes, you could say they gave up in that game. But we were part of that. If the game was close, they would've been fighting. Instead, we dominated from the opening kickoff.
Same thing Purdue did to us. I doubt any of their fans are crowing about beating us. But they'd be justified in pointing to the complete beatdown as evidence of a good win. They did what Kentucky and even Auburn and Georgia couldn't.
