Puryear, Barnett, Geist and VanLeer are not know commodities

MU has been playing the rough equivalent of pick up games during their tenure here. We have no idea how those players will perform if there are actual expectations and opponents take us seriously and if they are placed in their proper roles. All we know is that in the absence of much coaching and expectations they can perform inadequately.

If this team is to be successful, it will absolutely be lead by its freshman and they will become the focal points. Those other players may or may not become successful at adapting to supporting roles, but we do not know that because they are not known commodities.
